1. What these terms cover

These Terms of Service govern access to FrameCairn, a workspace that helps production teams organize source documents, extract potentially relevant rights information, track project records, and prepare internal clearance reviews.

FrameCairn is a software service and review aid. It is not a law firm, rights broker, insurer, talent representative, or substitute for a qualified lawyer reviewing the facts and agreements for your project.

2. Eligibility and your relationship with FrameCairn

You may use the service only if you can form a binding agreement in your place of residence and are authorized to accept these terms for any organization or production team you represent. If you use FrameCairn for a company, that company is responsible for your use and these terms apply to it as well.

3. Documents, ownership, and permissions

You retain your rights in documents, project records, notes, and other material you submit. You represent and warrant that you own the material or have all permissions, licenses, consents, and lawful authority needed for FrameCairn to store, process, display, and analyze it for the service and your intended project.

Do not upload confidential, privileged, personal, or third-party material unless you are allowed to do so. You are responsible for obtaining releases, licenses, notices, consents, and permissions, and for deciding whether a source may be shared with collaborators or processed by a service provider.

You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of your project records. FrameCairn does not take ownership of your documents and does not verify that a person or organization named in a source has granted any particular rights.

4. AI extraction and human review

FrameCairn may use automated and AI-assisted extraction to identify dates, territories, platforms, restrictions, parties, and other potentially relevant terms. Extraction can be incomplete, incorrect, ambiguous, or based on an imperfect reading of a scan, image, or document layout.

FrameCairn may also generate AI-assisted answers, summaries, classifications, and readiness or clearance statuses from stored evidence. These outputs can omit context, misunderstand language, or carry forward an incorrect source record. They are review support, not legal advice, and a “clear,” “ready,” or similar status is not a legal opinion, guarantee, certification, insurance decision, or evidence that you have all rights needed for distribution.

A human must verify every extraction, answer, summary, and status against the original source, permissions, amendments, and facts of your production before relying on it. FrameCairn does not determine whether a project is legally cleared. Consult qualified counsel for rights interpretation, contract drafting, clearance decisions, releases, privacy, publicity, copyright, trademark, music, union, location, archival, and distribution questions.

5. Your clearance and production responsibility

You are solely responsible for determining whether a project is legally cleared, obtaining any missing permissions, confirming chain of title, checking current law and contract obligations, and making release, publication, licensing, and distribution decisions. You must not rely on FrameCairn alone to ship a project or to decide that a document grants rights.

You are also responsible for preserving originals, maintaining your own backups, checking expiration dates, confirming amendments and side letters, and escalating unresolved or contradictory source language to qualified counsel or the relevant rights holder.

6. Acceptable use

You may use FrameCairn only for lawful internal production, rights-management, review, and collaboration purposes. You may not use it to violate another person’s privacy or intellectual-property rights; upload malware; impersonate another person; bypass access controls; probe or disrupt the service; reverse engineer protected portions; scrape accounts or data; or use the service to facilitate fraud, harassment, unlawful surveillance, or any other illegal activity.

You must not upload content that you are prohibited from disclosing or processing, including material subject to a legal restriction that the service cannot satisfy. You must promptly notify us if you discover unauthorized access or misuse connected to your account.

7. Accounts and security

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential, using a strong unique password, limiting account access to authorized people, and reviewing collaborator permissions. Activity under your account is your responsibility unless caused by our breach of these terms or applicable law.

Tell us promptly at framecairn@polsia.app if you suspect a credential compromise, unauthorized access, or an incorrect account action. We may suspend access while investigating a security issue.

8. Service limits and changes

The service may have plan-based limits on projects, documents, storage, extraction, users, or other features. We may change, pause, or discontinue features, enforce reasonable technical limits, or perform maintenance. We will use reasonable efforts to keep the service available, but uninterrupted or error-free operation is not promised.

You should keep independent copies of important documents and records. We are not responsible for loss caused by your failure to maintain backups, by a source you uploaded, or by a third-party service or network outside our reasonable control.

9. Suspension and termination

You may stop using your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for a breach of these terms, unlawful or harmful use, security risk, nonpayment, a request from law enforcement, or if continuing the service would create a legal or operational risk. We may also discontinue the service with reasonable notice where practicable.

On termination, your right to use the service ends. Subject to our retention obligations, backup cycles, and applicable law, we may delete account content after termination. Sections that by their nature should continue—including ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, and dispute terms—survive termination.

10. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FrameCairn is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, and that the service will identify every right, restriction, conflict, defect, or legal issue in a document or project.

We do not guarantee that any document grants rights, that any project is legally cleared, that a distribution plan is permitted, that a source is authentic or complete, or that use of the service will prevent a claim, dispute, takedown, loss, or lawsuit. Nothing in these terms makes FrameCairn or its owner lawsuit-proof.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FrameCairn and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, and providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, goodwill, production opportunity, data, or rights, arising from or related to the service or these terms.

14. Changes and acceptance

We may update these terms as the service, law, or business changes. We will identify the current version and effective date. If a change materially affects your use, we may ask you to review and accept the new version before continuing into the product.

By checking the acceptance box during signup or accepting a new version inside the product, you confirm that you read and agree to the current version on behalf of yourself or the organization you represent.
